Yesterday I bought this mic by accident. I was in a photo store and then we talked a bit and the guy showed me this old mic.

Only 15 Euro so I bought it.
I yet have to check it, but ain't it look "nice"?

Yup!
Vintage mic's can be loads of fun!, here is one I picked up a while ago, it appears to be the original design that that influenced Royer to produce the R121. Steven Sank rebuilt it for me with an RCA 77 DX 1.6 micron ribbon. Note the Royer patented offset ribbon design so each side of the figure of eight is a slightly different Eq. It was made by Reslosound in England in the 1950's and was called the Celeste.

The Mic wont take the level of a R121 or a crowley and tripp but with the dual rec power soaked into an old fender bassman CTS square magnet 12" its the dogs for downtune grunt and paired with an SM 57 beta via a little labs phase tool it can be really quite beautiful.
