Vital Remains tonight! w00t

Tons of shit, I won't be around Chicago at that time and I can't make it anywhere else. Damn man I wanted to see them live. I hope Benton doesn't read the lyrics on stage like I read on a live review a while back haha.

back... they played lotsa shit from Dechristianize... fucked if i knew the titles or #s, they all sounded familiar... started with LEt the Killin BEgin and Dechristianize, of course... after the show, me and Bill went around back and waited till 12. we met the entire band, got them to sign our ticket stubs, got a picture with Benton, then we came home :D. got a pick from Suzuki and a a pick from the bassist. woooooooo. don't miss this show!!!

couldnt tell ya :( i don't think they played any, actually. i was talking to Suzuki after the show, he said that theyll be around again in October when GLen has more practice with the lyrics (he had lyric sheets ont he ground in front of him), and theyll play older stuff then

May 14 in Chicago. Fuck! I can't make it!

Miss Lioness checked the dates for that show, saw that they play in her area, wrote down the date, and made plans to go. (after all, she loves Vital Remains)
days went by, and one night as she was chatting on irc on #nevermore
she saw Will typing: "yeah! im going to see Vital remains tomorrow!"
she got scared for a minute, because NJ is not so far from her area,
and when she checked the date... she realized, that idiot Lioness, that the show was the same NIGHT, and she missed it!
so much for writing down the dates, FOOL!

:yell:

here's the set list... nothing old....

Let the Killing Begin
Dechristianize
Infidel
Devoured Elysium
Savior to None... Failure for All
Unleashed Hell
Rush of Deliverance...

in terms of the cd... that's tracks 1-7 straight through haha... if only they got to Entwined by Vengeance

Its funny because almost no one knew they even had 4 other albums before Dechristianize, most thought this was their debut. Into Cold Darkness, and Dawn of the Apocalypse are fucking Killer. Hell, Forever Underground is pretty good too. Kinda sucks they didnt play anything old, even though Dechristianize is an all around brutally excellent album.
