Actually that was teh way it was intended. Jonas mentioned in an interview that Omerta was supposed to end so abruptly because the song is about the mafia code of silence and this man realizes he is dying. I thought maybe something was wrong with my CD the first time I heard it because it just stops. Turns out it was supposed to.
Yeah, I definately dug the ending once I had some background. It makes complete sense and really drives home the point of the song. As usual Katatonia have proven they are musical geniuses.
