hey guys, pretty soon im coming into some money and because of this want to improve my setup more.
i am thinking of getting a new vocal condenser and a preamp of some kind. i record mainly metal vocals, and some clean vocals from time to time.
i am currently working with the behringer b-1 (yes i know its shocking but it was the first mic i ever brought and have just never gotten around to replacing it) running straight into my motu 8pres preamp.
my budget would be around £300/£400 for this, and i was already thinking of getting a rode nt1-a and a presonus tubepre, how does this sound to everyone?
please let me know what you think and give me any suggestions as i am literally clueless as to if this would be a decent investment of my money.
