What is the fastest work flow?

Are you guys doing sections at a time or can i just run through the whole song?
I have heard people say this is easier but to me it seems like alot of extra work....but maybe im looking at it wrong

So with Huge Vocal Productions....and i still think im roughly on the smaller scale but i do alot of Vocals and layers....How long is it taking you guys to do a song? With the way im reading the Manual it would take hours ...Seems like there should be a faster way.....
What is this guy doing? i see that he is using Pro-tools so maybe its just a Pro-tools thing.....But this is how i would expect it to work and it would make for a faster workflow

I went through and cut starting and ending points so they are similar ......apply the plug in to the track that is being dubbed , set the locators in cubase , export audio and then pull them back up to the track....i mean that would take decades...especially in sections.........i have used on some of the really bad parts which everything was tracked rather tight and works quite awesomly

this is how I am doing it, with AudioSuite in PT it won't take more than 2-3 minutes to do even a song with MANY vox.
I'm usually doing it right after the singer double tracked....takes about 2-5 Seconds for a section like a verse or chorus.

If I'm really thorough and do small sections etc an entire song would still never take more than 5 mins

Just be careful, ive founs that tightly tracked vox often sound better without vocalign, unless you're specifically after that chorus sound. It can actually sound smaller without the misalignment. So use your judgment part by part. I rarely use it for an entire song, and even if i do its mostly for corrective purposes.

I know this is a pretty old thread but hopefully someone can elaborate on what Zombie said up there. I'm digging Vocalign in Cubase now that I have it working but in a song with many layers and harmonies this will take damn forever doing sections. In that youtube video he posted the guy seems to just be importing the wav data and printing on spot instead of having to actually hit play and "capturing" it and then bouncing out and back in. Is this only a protools feature or can this be done in Cubase as well?
