diggin' on reaper

Heres my question. I am using Reaper on my mac with PodFarm, but everytime I load podfarm it crashes out Reaper. There is def not a RAM issue going on, so do any of you possibly know what the issue could be?

might want to transport on over to the reaper forums
hopefully some active users will confirm and elevate the bug

Well I must say that I`m getting more and more used in mixing in Reaper.I have a few questions:

1.is there a gain trim pot per channel that is visible in mixer view?I know that there is a way to make it visible in project view, but what i like in Reaper is the way channels group them self when you double click the mixer. It kinda reminds me of the way the faders are grouped on Yamaha M7CL which brings me to the question number

2.as i said above I like the way the mixer view looks like when you double click it(I never liked mixer in Cubase/Nuendo too much scrolling and clicking ,unless you have two monitors) .Is there a way to make it a default when i press a shortcut for it(ctrl+M I believe it is)

Yeah, right after I posted that I thought to myself "I guess thats more of a topic for the reaper forum dewds", hopefully something will work out bc for some reason its not working at all for me.

What do you mean "double click the mixer"? When I double click inside the Mixer window, it just adds a new track, doesn't change any viewing or grouping or anything? What exactly are you double clicking, can you post a screenshot?

Well, I had a look at the yamaha mixer he mentioned and it has two rows of faders. I guess by doubleclicking he just maximizes the windows and the faders group in two rows.

Exactly.Sorry I haven`t been specific about that. And the gain trim pot per channel in maximized mixer view would be a total winner.

im not sure why anyone would want to view tracks stacked on top of each other (no console is like this?) but thats how reaper is by default

to be honest, im used to just looking at one row with each track as a column (like a console)

I think I remember you can set up reaper not to act like that and make it create only one row in the mixer. It should be right clicking on the mixer and choosing the right option I guess.

If you're talking about the mixer window, just right click on an empty space in it and deselect "show multiple rows of tracks when size permits".

Damn i wish i'd known about that before. I hate not being able to see FX and sends just because of those goddamn rows!
