voivod promo cd for the new cd coming up

I like the 3 tracks on it. I got it for being a regular over at www.voivodfan.com and www.chophouserecords.com

They are pretty simple yet rocking songs. It is cool to see the return of Snake as the singer. Yes, Jason will bring in all the attention but the band is rocking yet again.


This is what anthrax should have done to start getting the hype out there.

i will be very interested to hear new voivod,fuck metallica for not letting him do side projects while still in the band.
especially when u have no creative input,james told him how he wants the basslines,what a control freak.

kirk was the one that finally broke metallica into the mega big time with enter sandman riff.i cant believe kirk didnt record rythm on record till load album.

once the riff for enter the sandman was created was the moment they died to me as they became just another boring rock band. What a waste for Kirk as I used to consider him one very good guitarist.

Yesterday, I got an advance copy and I can't stop to listen it !
It's really really heavy ! Al is back !

I saw Voivod opening for Dio this year and I really didn't like it... except for the Floyd cover "Astronomy Domine" ... they sounded really disorganised and not that heavy at all...

voivod wasn't really that back together when they did those select few dates in canada earlier in 2002. Now with Jason and Snake firmly as members, they are going to be awesome like they once were live. Snake is who everyone should be talking about. He was an awesome singer with them on their best cds. Plus, if you saw them open for dio, they probably had a very short set.
