At CD Universe... People who bought Voyager Univers also bought...
Linkin Park
Nazarath
The Divinyls???
Cardigans
Jesse Butterworth?
and last but not least...Rodney Posey

Carry on...

Voyager is kick ass. CD Universe throws out random shit cd's hoping that the idiots that buy something pick up these other cds because...well...they're idiots

I bought all three at the Festival, but have really only listened to Univers. It's AWESOME! The singing is in line with Nightingale/Ten but the music is really cool "easy-going" prog with some very quirky and happy keyboard parts. I don't normally like this kind of music, but so far I'm Impressed as hell!!!!! "Cross The Line" is one of the best songs I've heard in this genres period!

This is considered progressive? Why do I like it?

BTW, their website has a free download of LOST as well as a full streaming set of music. Lost fucking rules so hard.

This is the band that I am most excited about seeing. I am Revolution is one of those albums I can listen to all the time. As for as the recommendations, all i will say is that Voyager is a band that will appeal to fans outside of the genre.

Element V is their first and best album to me, but it's not like their sound has changed. I usually keep the first thing I hear from a band as my favorite. The first two tracks (together) on Element V are just.....stunning. I listened to the new album on the way home from ProgPower, and wow...more of the same (which is GREAT). They're gonna kick ass at PPUSA next year.

One of my favorite bands, and the only person I saw at ProgPower with one of their shits on ;) My favorite album is UniVers, but partly that's because the production is stronger than Element V. All 3 of the albums are strong, and while their sound hasn't changed greatly, I feel that their songs are all fairly distinct. At least for me. The songs are all sing-along-with friendly, though its not like I can approach his vocal prowess. Their songs pop into my head all the time, and its never annoying. Great music to drive to as well, especially when I'm having a hard time staying awake.

Lost fucking rules so hard.
Glad you mentioned the free download on their site. I found it a few days ago and haven't listened to much else. You're damn right, "Lost" is a bucket full of rule-age.

The video:

I found another band called Voyager with a similar logo, but they are more of a hard rock band and seem to have some Christian themes in their lyrics. Not sure where they are from, but since the PP Voyager from Aus only have a few albums it was easy to rule out the other band. According to Last.fm, there are several bands with the name, so don't get confused when you're out there shopping :-)

I predict Voyager to be the "surprise" badasses of the fest. His voice is amazing, the music is somewhat closer to prog than power but I think there's enough of both to satisfy most of the crowd. I'm really starting to look forward to seeing this band!
