VST/AU 'midi note gate' plugin ??

Hey guys.. I'm after a VST or AU plugin for Intel OSX.

I have quite a lot of crossbleed on my TD-6 ride cymbal; I want to kill all F1 notes below a certain velocity threshold; but I want to do it in realtime, and not post-recording. Because its really screwing with my performance.

Is there anything out there for this kind of deal?

i was looking for a midi gate too a while back. i wanted to trigger the gate via midi hits but no one on the forums could find me one.

what i had to do was set up a midi channel and throw a synth on it (no tail) & send that to bus 1 only, open a new channel, set the new channel's input as bus 1 and its output accordingly, record it triggering the notes onto the new channel - then set the side chain on the channel i actually wanted to gate as the new recorded midi track which was now a wav file

if that makes sense - it was awkward but the only way i could figure it out
