w500k guitar volume pot need immediate change

hi guys! my 12 year old Ibanez RG 7 string is now having problems with both volume and tone pot. It seems tht both pots are now stuck like its glued or something.

I dont have any choice but thinking of replacing them. Another problem occured here. What was installed here was the potentiometer is W500k. I cant seem to get this same pot thing from ebay or thomann. So can it be replace with A500k or B500k?

And also should i get a long shaft or short? i dont have any guitars to compare it with.

Dunno about the A or B, but long-shaft is generally used on Les Paul type guitars with thick tops.

Make sure it's audio taper for volume, linear for tone. I'd recommend Bourn pots.

so that means it doesnt matter whether its A500k or B500k?

The difference between the A and B are in the taper. Same basic sounds, just in different places when you sweep the pot on and off.
