Exactly, and I can confirm that Dimmu Borgir themselves turned the stream down because they had more than 100 people on stage and were not sure that it would sound right (plus they are working on a DVD from the other symphonic show from last year).

German ZDF-TV has uploaded several full concerts from Wacken 2012 available on their website at

The main screen on the German page linked above will view a four-hour concert combination featuring Amon Amarth, Volbeat, Saxon, Sepultura & Les Tambours du Bronx, The Scorpions und Machine Head. From the list "Konzerte" on the right hand side of the main screen you can choose one hour concerts from the named bands and next week they will add five more recordings, one on each weekday (see the schedule below the screen), so keep returning to that page.

The Dimmu Borgir thing was pretty cool and actually sounded good. The guitars were a bit quiet in the mix but still sounded pretty nice
