the setlist for the Iced Earth show was stellar. 4 songs from Dark Saga. I wish we got that at ProgPower. However, the show was not good to Matt. He was rough most of the way through it.

heh...I've seen Iced Earth 23 times, and feel like this is the same basic set I saw at least 20 of those times! But, it is a pretty great setlist to hear over and over, and I certainly understand it for Barlow's farewell tour, so I'm not really complaining.

However, the show was not good to Matt. He was rough most of the way through it.

From the very first notes you can see him futzing with his in-ear monitors and continuing to take them in and out for song after song, so clearly something was seriously broken there. And then about halfway through (from "Jack" onwards) it must have finally gotten fixed, because he suddenly sounded really good from then on.
