I was there last year. First we drove to Turku and went by a boat to Stockholm and drove through Sweden and Denmark all the way to Wacken. I think the driving took something between 12 and 15 hours. Don't remember exactly.
The weather was really really hot, but during nights it became god damn cold (Hehe, who am I to complain when it's -20C outside right now ). But it didn't rain. Near the stage the sand was a bit of a problem, if some intense band was playing well the crowd was more intense so on somepoints there was these annoyng dust clouds, couple of times it got hard to breath and also I think my camera didn't like it so much.
But overall wery positive experience. And I'm propably going this year too.
