Wacken will be huge by 2003. It seems to have been getting progressivly bigger and better over the years.

From what I've heard it's not.
Last year they had almost 50k visitors, which was way too much they thought so that this year there are only 25k-30k tickets available

So much for the "bigger"
The "better" is to be juged by everybody himself

Well unfortunately there is only so much that can be assessed from looking at Pctures of wacken 98/99/00/01.
But all this (crowd/size/line up) stuff aside, I can't fricken wait to go, but Argon-Direct wont give me my tickets 'till like 30 days before the event!!!!
Thats fucking annoying.

We would have got 'em at metaltix but all that site is all in German isn't it? My friend who is going with me to wacken does German in shcool but he kinda sucks at it. So we didn't have any choice but to buy them at A-D. You can't get tickets ANYWHERE in Ireland.
Being on the edge of Europe sucks!

I assume you have heard the plans for the Blind Guardian set?
Does one not be totally drained even after a day in Wacken?
With deadly bands such as:
CoB
Blind Guardian
Borknager
Green Carnation
Immortal
Evergrey
Hollenthon
Etc..........
How the hell can 3+(including if we go early and stuff) days of jumping,shouting,drinking, ... be survived without ending up
in an exhausted heap??
