Watch streams from Wacken 2006

The sound isn't that great (at least on the stream), but Nevermore's "Born" really gives you the feel of what it's like to be a part of something so special. That crowd is whipped into a frenzy thanks to Warrel.

Dammit! Why can't we get good festivals in the US? I'll need to make a pilgrimage to Wacken one day.
 
Heh, yeah, I suppose that would suck. You guys don't even get many tours, do you?
 
That's cool. Not to mention Australia has put out some good bands. Destroyer 666, Gospel of the Horns, Nocturnal Graves, etc.

chacking out the vids now ... David Vincent looks like a combination of Nikki Six / Blackie Lawless / Gary Holt :loco: ... he sounds great ... but his years in the Genitorturers have taken their toll ...

oh I agree ... his style fits some of the songs, like Piece of Time :kickass: , but others not.

he is too choppy and thin sounding now ... but he WAS fronting some straight up rock band for 10 years or so ...
