Has anyone seen how planet Mars is getting bigger and brighter every night lately? Supposedly August 27th will be the closet Mars has ever been in orbit to Earth in written history! And, it will be the only time it will happen in at least the next 50,000 years! (so they say) On August 27th they say we will see Mars almost the same size as we see the moon! That's gonna be one big red planet!!!!! Should be freaky and neat!!! Check it out! Right now the best viewing time is between 10pm and 3am, (California time) brightest around 3am.

Wanda, if you're gonna be up that early, watch out for the bald guy in shorts running down your street.

 Hey, a guy's gotta jog sometime, ya know?

Just found out that Mars will be that size if you're looking through a telescope at 75x magnification. Sorry, no planetary collision this month. :erk:
