I'd like to have some feedback on Maserati VX1 and Kramer Vocal Channel which one do you prefer?!?
In other hand, I'm interested in the 'riders' Bass and Vocals. As I have not enough money to get both I have to choose one for now... I think Vocal Rider is much useful the the Bass one, right?

I would be highly surprised if it was only VST 3 since that's cubase only tech at this point.

After buying the first coulple of waves plugins i got vouchers emailed to me that gave me 50% discount on top of the discounts already offered on the deals so the $99 ones ended up being half price $49.50 each

Thats enough money spent for one day!

Fucking assholes. I just bought Vocal Rider at full price. This keeps happening to me with Waves. Literally get shat on sideways for buying their software, each time.

Can you let me know next time you buy something? I'll keep my out for the sale.

I'm sorry if I sound like total noob as I haven't done much research on the plug, but what advantages does using Bass Rider have over just standard compressing and limiting? And also Vocal Rider? What makes them worth the extra money?

The idea behind both of them is to do automation for you, so bass/vocals' perceived volume remains the same throughout the whole song.
Now, I wouldn't find the Vocal rider usable too much for me, because usually I manually ride the vocals for better impact, but the Bass rider is apparently so much useful (judging by the clips), because you don't have to manually ride the bass to stay audible (or, so it doesn't drop out on some notes, which is normal, even if you comp+limit it to hell and back). And as we know, a consistent bass, which doesn't jump all over the spectrum is the key for tight and solid low end in the mix.
This is the only alternative to manual, boring bass riding via automation in your DAW.

Ok i gotta stop buying now, its getting kinda silly but i saved soo much off regular prices using 3x $100 vouchers i got emailed from waves after buying the last bunch,
But i just got the gold bundle, Ren vox and One knob Wetter (which is now $19 so thought it was worth a punt).

yes they do using them will give you up to 50% off anything, i just got the Gold bundle, Ren vox and wetter for $233 (£150) how could i refuse that?
