poor we disintegrate, it's such a great tune (comparitive to the rest of the album, at least), but in no way can it match up with deconstruction

nah deconstruction is awesome but the main riff is so boring. the thing that makes the song so good is the solo because it's one of loomis's best. but disintegrate has more energy and the best, coolest, chorus of any nevermore song and drum pattern van has ever come up with. plus the lyrics are...*gasp* better.....

this is true

It is one of his few that thoroughly amazes me in a deeper way than any other virtuistic run-of-the-mill shred exercise

Bah, the beginning certainly makes the song. Deconstruction gets my vote by 8 billion also.

DECONSTRUCTION,I love everything about this song.the production fits so well with it,that bass sound, the solos, the riffs, the lyrics.it should be part of their live setlist.

for me boring means The River Dragon Has Come for example, being part of every live setlist.don't get me wrong I like the song, but I prefer diversity considering Nevermore has a ton of great songs.

yea, i agree that they do play the same songs too much....seems like every band does that these days, especially in flames. anyways. im thinking if i hadnt heard either song live, river dragon would definitely be and much more energetic for me, for my tastes...

what i want to see nevermore do is put together a medley like sonata arctica is doing now, and like metallica sometimes does when they tour. take a bunch of songs they havent played live for a while, or at all, then play 30 seconds of each of 'em.
