I study music and every now and then we have essays ofc. and i want to plagiarism check my texts before my teachers do, because i always get my info from the web

So are there any known ways of doing this free?
I googled it and just got really confused

yes i thought of that to but i have been told that every teacher here in sweden has to run all texts through 2 different plagiarism algorithm thingies

Simple solution to this is, do your own work. Seriously. When I was at Uni I took 70% of my material for essays and shit from the internet but I write it myself, I read for example a 2 page text, understand it, then write in my own words. If you do this no algorithm will get it and they did the same at my uni, I saw people getting zero's and flunking because of that

This. There's no shortcut to good work.

Well you are completely right.

But this essay is for returning tomorrow. We only had one day to write about a pretty massive social problem. This was the test.

Ohwell whatever

Reword the stuff then, I see no other way. Plus it'll be good practice, the more you do it the faster you'll become at it.

Good luck :D

This is what i've been doing all day:hypno: It's a headacher for sure. Allright then thanks for th input.

When I was in college, the only way to plagiarize was out of a book or Lexis/Nexis, so it was a heck of a lot easier to find ways to re-word and re-work so it fit better, vs. the whole "copy/paste" thing :-)

one of my friends teaches music tech and one of the first things he does when marking is to search for the subject in question on wikipedia and see how much it's ripped off.
