Welcome!

Well i thought i'd bump this one back up to show you that more UK fans were still joining this humble abode.

Great site/boards Mark, really appreciate what you and everyone at this community have done. Set out, designs, forums, post array... it's just all very impressive stuff compared to other vB's i've been too. :)

As for bands, the genereal foray mentioned above; Raging Speedhorn, Autonomy, Stampin Ground, Earthtone9, Orange Goblin, 100 Reasons, Fractal Jack, Slavestate, As She Screams, you know the general sound of the UK.

I'll also reiterate veil the sky's query as i'm also quite intrigued, lol. "Where are you moving to?" :D

Thank you for the info dreamwatch. As for the fact that you moving together, are you both in a relationship or related? You know, not that i'm trying to pry... just curious that's all. (Well unless it's confidential and for private eyes and ears only, heh.) :) :D

well my fave UK metal bands are

Threshold - http://www.thresh.net/ - hardly ever play in the UK

Anathema - http://listen.to/anathema - have played quite few gigs recently - they'll probably go back into hibernation for another 18 months now.

DragonForce - http://www.dragonforce.biz/ - also rarely play gigs, though this may change when they finally sign to Sanctaury and get their Cd recorded.

Shadowkeep - http://www.shadowkeep.co.uk/ - 80's early Queensryche sorta metal.

Powerquest - http://www.powerquest.co.uk/

Riffmaster General - http://www.riffmastergeneral.com/ - RAWK!!!! from Northern Ireland

Demon, Praying Mantis, Budgie etc occasionally strap on their guitars and play.

Blaze is Ok if you like old-school stuff, there are masses of shouty hardcore bands who don't exactly move my feet let alone my soul.

I'm sure that there's lots more, but you can find em in Rocksound, kerrang! etc.
