Welp, I live in Tokyo now

dawg, don't forget the parasite museum. (meguro)
or the beer museum. (ebito)
or the drum museum. (akasaka)

the yamanote loop line will be your friend.
avoid roppongi like that's your job.
ramen bars are cheap and delicious.

drug-induced drum circles every sunday at yoyogi kouen in harajuku.

Come back dammit! (in a year.)

Don't sex up all the Japanese girls. The mother of your septuplets would be pissed. If you don't come back with massive facial hair I shall consider your trip a failure.

Have fun!

Nomihodai = all you can drink for 2-3 hours at a set price of around $16-40 (depending on the place you go). I've come to love Japanese alcohol buffets and karaoke although, it's all been with mostly other gaijin. Once the term starts, I'm sure I'll spend more money drinking with Japanese people too. Kirin's Aki Aji (Autumn Flavor) is not worth the $2.75 I paid for. But I am looking forward to Winter Aji, Summer Aji, and Spring Aji during my time here... Also, to play music here you have to rent out a jam room for a couple hours. My friends got a complaint from their neighbors just for playing guitar loudly during the day.

and I've successfully not drank a single can of chu-hi in the less than 2 weeks that I've been here.

Has your semester started? Definitely join an instrument club if they've got 'em. I was in a "bruegrass" club at Kansai Gaidai and that was an excellent way to jam and meet cute banjo-pickin' onna.

It's not like Chu-Hai is bad...

I ended up drinking three tallys last night and pissing into Tokyo bay at Odaiba park. Thus, I had a headache this morning.

I'm joining boxing club and maybe some choir. DAMN
