good list. which gabriel album?

Sorry for the slow response...away from my computer for a few days...I love almost anything by Peter Gabriel...one of the best voices of all time IMO...the frail whispiness to a powerful emotive delievery.
UP is a masterpiece and I love the "Growing Up Live" DVD in DTS surround sound.
Early Genesis....Foxtrot, LLDoB, Selling England.....
Early Gabriel.... III (melt) stands out.

the live version of Horse Head and the Joy Division cover blow away anything on Olden imo.

it's really strange none of you mentions anathema's alternative 4. patterson's truly dark tracks (as opposed to the other members' "sorrowful, emotional" tracks...dont get mw wrong, i love them, too) are still strong enough to knock me down after 7 years. "empty," the violin solo on "lost control," "alternative 4," "feel." fuck, i dont understand you guys

gabriel is a very talented man. he is still able to make excellent albums...like "up." great musician
