Wet dream about Greek metal tribute...

I had a warm fuzzy dream about some of our bands doing some greek (doom? black?) metal cover songs...

Imagine like Withersoul or Shroud doing some Septic Flesh songs like Epsotron (spelling?) or another off that same cd or Mystic Places?

Or another band covering On Thorns I lay's Orama (1st song is one of my faves).

Rotting Christ? Triarchy of Lost Lovers (is that the name?) or Non Serviam? Both excellent cds...

hrmmm.. just some thoughts...

Hmm I think it sounds good. I wonder what other bands think about it.

Those bands are great and Greece has a decent metal scene. I guess many people show interest to some kind of CD.

Well, I'd love to hear WS do Septic Flesh or that song for On Thorns I Lay - off Orama...
what would you other bands do if you wanted to pick one?

We might be down with a Septic Flesh song, maybe a Rotting Christ one..not sure yet... It might be an expensive idea, since you'd have to get the rights from all those different labels (like Holy Records, Century Media, etc.)

Necromantia is a great greek black metal band...though...hard to cover them..we would need an 8 string bass!

I have most of their cds - but the digipak with a stone character carved on the front is one of my favorites. I wonder what Magus is up to now.
