I don't know about all of you, but I'm kinda bummed about there only being 10 tracks on the new album... (assuming they are not including the b-sides??) We've waited a while and are still waiting for the album, they should reward us with more than 10 tracks... But hey, when it comes out, I'll be the first to get it, don't get me wrong, I'm foaming at the mouth for it!!! I'll just shut my trap because I'm sure it will be the shit!!! Only 10 tracks means they didn't try to make songs for the sake of a longer album. So all of the songs are going to be masterpieces! Remember, Among the Living only had 9 tracks...

besides, you have to give them the benefit of the doubt. i mean, they're anthrax

look at weezer... they only put like 10 tracks on their albums, but they're all killer from beginning to end. the first two van halen records, etc.

i'd rather have 10 tracks of rock than 10 tracks of rock and 4 or so tracks of shit.

Aside from Volume 8 (and various greatest hits compilations), Anthrax has never had more than 11 tracks on an album. Sure, I'd like to see as many songs as possible...I flip out whenever I get my hand on a new b-side that I haven't heard before, but 10 solid tracks is more than enough to keep me occupied.

i'm not closeminded and don't limit my musical tastes to just metal. weezer write perfect two minute pop songs. the kinda stuff that sticks in your head all day.

and no talent? i'm willing to bet any of those guys could play you into the ground.

I'm not sure, but I don't think Blabbermouth had all the tracks up on their post a couple of months ago. I remember there being like twelve or so, plus b-sides.

Hahaha...I get just as annoyed (if not moreso) with short songs as you do with long songs...short songs always pass by too quickly for me. I personally think songs should generally be 4 and 1/2 minutes at the shortest...
