I once saw Vai unscrew the whammy bar, use it to play his guitar by tapping the strings with it, then screw it back in. That was pretty cool.

yea, I was thinking about David Gilmore. I noticed in one concert video I saw years ago that he used it constantly for vibrato.

If thats who your thinking off. Roger Waters was another member of the fine band.

But if Meedley is serious I'd agree about Beck, even if hes not. He has continously used it as a tool for his unique playing style and sound.... AND Vai is still the Wizard, but I have little or no listening experience with most of the others mentioned.
