what are you drinking in that myspace pic?

The best strawberry margarita I have ever had. Of course it was that good because I was in Mexico at the time. That was taken at dinner before the 3rd night at BajaProg '04. Proceeded to get very drunk with some very nice prog bands that night. It ruled.

okay, i don't think it actually has caffeine in it...they're saying that guarana is high in caffeine, which i don't think is true, but i believe that, legally, guarine and caffeine are close enough that you can abide properly by governmental regulations by calling guarine "caffeine".

one of the brands of guarana i drink says NO CAFFEINE in huge letters but it definitely has guarine in it, so i think they are circumventing the law with language.

i'm not sure if what i just wrote is true, but that's my understanding. honestly, though, i'm really feeling guarana/rum tonight! let's see if i can do some one-stop shopping.

I voted 7 & 7 but I always advocate the drinking of Irish Whiskey, though to get revved up for a show, I would highly recommend car bombs of the Irish Variety. When I was up around Woostah a couple weekends ago, visiting my roommates during the year, who hail from Westford, we had some carbombs and it was "wicked awesome", as I believe the colloquial speech runs.

Steel Reserves looks like our Lucky Lager (ranges from 6.6% to 9.9% alcohol) or the Fax 10%, really bad tasting (tastes like fucking windshield washer) but does a hangover wonderfully...

I think you may be right. Also Bawls is very popular at LAN parties to help everyone stay up all night.

okay, i'm drinking guarana (not BAWLS brand) and pitu (Brazilian sugarcane rum, the stuff they use in capirinhas...it's not nearly as good as i was hoping.

maybe i should have gotten the most expensive one, instead of the cheapo bottle with the shrimp on the label.

irish car bombs with baileys are yumtastic, especially in a chicago winter. never had the whiskey kind, i've had a few bad experiences with whiskey.

i had a red bull and jager once that was tasty. expensive though- most places charged like $9-10 for them, which was not worth it.

weird. the only irish car bombs i ever had were the ones with bailey's and whiskey. i thought the idea was the whiskey would settle the guiness and make it thin enough so that you could chug it and then the bailey's would be all you would taste.

i did not realize there were variations.

A proper carbomb should have both whiskey and Bailey's. The deliciousness is nigh unparalleled, I refered to it as "the paramount of alcoholic excellence" after having 3 in 20 minutes.
