Quite a few use Jackson or B.C Rich guitars, probably more for looks than sound (at least that's the way I see it). I personally prefer Ibanez, but that's just me.

The best guitars for black metal are quite frankly going to be the best ones for pretty much any metal genre. There is no such thing as a guitar suited to Black Metal.
You can play Black Metal on an Ibanez 8 string just as you can play it on a Fender Jaguar, it's up to you man.
If you're wanting stuff with good playability, Schecter, Ibanez, ESP and Jackson are the brands to check out

Haha nah im kidding... seriously though... I don't think you will have to worry too much about the choice of guitar for this genre. I play BM and I use pretty much whichever guitar is nearest at the time wether its a shine or an ibanez. Just go try some out. If it plays nice and has good pickups then thats the one.
