What are you into these days?

The music I am dedicating my time to these days are:
NOVEMBRE (SINCE I DISCOVERED IT, ABOUT 6 MONTHS)
CLOSEAWAY
PLANS' EP NOWHERE (SIDE PROJECT OF ALEKSI AHOKAS OF RAPTURE)
THE MORNINGSIDE
NICO MUHLY(''THE READER'' SOUNDTRACKS)
GODSPEED YOU! BLACK EMPEROR
...ABOVE WAS WHAT I AM DEDICATING MUCH TIME TO..

AND HERE IS WHAT I OCCASIONALLY LISTEN AND ENJOY, OBVIOUSLY(AT THE MOMENT, SOME OF THESE I HAVE ALREADY HEARD TOO MUCH EARLIER, SOME WAITING DEDICATED LISTENING)
RAPTURE
DRACONIAN
NOIR DESIR ( FRENCH ROCK WHICH SOUND SIMILAR TO NEW PESTE NOIRE TO ME, RECOMMENDED SONGS- CES GENS LA, A TON ETOILE, FIN DE SIECLE)
OCTOBER TIDE (RAIN WITHOUT END)
OBLIVIO (DREAMS ARE DISTANT MEMORIES)
CROOKED NECKS (RUINS OF RESURRECTION SPLIT EP)
A SILVER MT. ZION (HE HAS LEFT US ALONE BUT SHAFTS OF LIGHT SOMETIMES GRACE THE CORNER OF OUR HOUSE)
OLD SILVER KEY
TELEFON TEL AVIV (IMMOLATE YOURSELF)
CAPTAIN SIB SHOW EPISODE 15
ULVER (BERGTATT)
... (SINGLE-SINGLE SONGS NOT INCLUDED HERE OF OTHER BANDS/ALBUMS) THERE IS A LOT DIFFERENCE IN LISTENING AND DEDICATED LISTENING TO ME SO I SEPARATED THEM FOR BETTER UNDERSTANDING.

definitely good music waiting for you Nostalgiaplatz, so, what are you into these days? this is 2012 now

I am currently reviving The Silent Enigma from Anathema. In the past months, I have been listening mostly to:

  • Les Discrets - Septembre et ses dernières Pensées
  • Threat Signal - Vigilante
  • Giuliano (an italian singer/song writer that I met in Ireland) - his songs are in his website giuliano.ie
  • Thragedium - Isolationist
  • Crushing Sun - TAO
  • Arctic Plateau - On A Sad Sunny Day
  • Lisa Hannigan - Sea Sew

As well as the first two from Novembre

This Mar de Grises's song reminds me Novembre a bit, the melancholic side of Novembre:

And I love this song of the same album, Catatonic North:

I'm enjoying too the new and excellent Moonspell album ( both parts ) and two more portuguese bands , Before the Rain and Mourning Lenore. Portuguese bands are in good shape !

Pretty quiet in here, uh? Nothing like a slow weekend to catch up on quality music and acquiring new influences, so I've listened to pretty much everything people were listening since the start of this topic and I could just say everyones musical tastes are spot on! Approved :p

What I have been listening myself is nothing special. It's partly root influences and partly new stuff.

  • Sacred Sin - DarkSide
  • Sacred Sin - Eye M God
  • Amorphis - Tales from the Thousand Lakes / elegy
  • from indian lakes - *
  • Ascension of the watchers - numinosum
  • betraeus - towards the sun

I've been into these guys quite a bit lately... the vocals are a lil ridiculous at times and don't fit with the music, but the guitar playing is stellar!

this is the album I usually start my day with, while enjoying my morning espresso.
