So far not really keeping my attention. Technically a good band, but their songs miss somthing to keep my attention.

Angels Cry - ANGRA

Does anybody know if any of the post Matos albums were as good as Angels Cry / Holy Land?

I know only 'Temple of Shadows', which i quite liked, but it is just a good record by a plain power metal band- whereas 'Holy Land' is, in my opinion, a masterpiece.
I am also quite curious also about Matos' post-Angra records, butnever tried them.

now listening to: Critical Mass

A lot of people claim that Temple of Shadows is a great album. I only like a few tracks on it myself but I've never been that fond of Edu's voice. It's too whiny for me. Ironically most people would say that about Andre's.

Though my friend who is an Angra fan says that the Rebirth album is also good.

Hell Yeah. It's my favorite album by them :D

Overkill - Horrorscope

Thanks for the insight guys...I'm not sure I'm about to get a post Matos album anytime soon. Holy Land is also my favourite for being different from what you'd usually expect from a Power Metal band.

NP: COVERDALE / PAGE - Feeling Hot
"The boys are feeling hot tonight / Fingers crossed they get it right / A little to the left / A little to the right / The boys are feeling hot tonight!

It doesn't get better than this!

I'd say it takes more than a few listens to 'get it' with PNC's music. Although not convoluted as Dream Theater is, the music is still a challenge to listen to. They have unusual arrangements with guitar solos showing up where you'd least expect it. But once you get it, it is very very rewarding. If you want to start with PNC, I would suggest One In A Million, which is my favourite album. If you want to test your sanity listen to Slave To The Mind which was the most challenging for me.
