I'm trying to get some ideas for a pedalboard setup. What are you guys doing for pedalboards? Make your own? Buy one?

Currently making my own Pedaltrain/Trailer Trash mashup pedalboard. 2 inch wooden slats spread 1.5 inches apart (like a pedaltrain), hot white tolex with black hardware for the frame, gloss black spray paint for the wooden slats, 4 built-in Neutrik locking jacks (2 main in/out, 2 fx loop in/out), built in ac outlet, gloss black metal cab corners, and making my own Mogami+Neutrik patch cables, and a bunch more.
29.5"x 16.5" frame. 28"x15" usable area. 3/4inch solid poplar frame, 1/2 inch thick solid pine for the slats. Some metal Corner braces/L-brackets to hold up the slats. Frame itself is gonna be glued together though.
The front of the board is 1.5" high, the back of the board is 4.5" high (so it slants upward by about 3"). Also has a 1/2" "lip" above the slats too (in otherwords, the slats are sunk in a bit, NOT flush with the top of the frame
Gonna be epic to say the least. All for under $100 too including the neutrik inputs and ac outlet (excluding the patch cables though. Don't know how much that is gonna cost me yet)
Thinking about adding some white, black, red, or blue LED lighting underneath. Dont know though
