i thought that there would be a lot of bodom fans that like skyfire. they're similar enough to appeal to the same fanbase but skyfire has much better vocals and lyrics.

There are bands out there that are like Skyfire, for example.

Skyfire is hard to classify, but, I made up my own genre for them I just call it Melodic Black Metal


Its a tie between EToS/DisarmoniaMundi/Skyfire for best in the genre imho, they are all great, but I'd tip the hand to EToS Zelda keyboards in Aurora Borealis is just so awesome They are just like Skyfire, if you like skyfire checkt out EToS.

Disarmonia Mundi doesnt sound at all like Skyfire imho.
EToS a bit... like Norther and Bodom but only a bit.

Melodic Black Metal is like Catamenia... but I don't like giving genre to bands.

I just found out about Eternal Tears Of Sorrow a week or so ago, and I absolutely love them. They are just amazing. They probably are the closest thing to Skyfire right now. Two incredibly talented, and unique blended bands.
