haha I felt something was wrong when I was typing but I was too in a hurry to worry about it because our Deputy director was whining about his magenta toner cartridge being low.

I brought The Sand County Almanac with me, but concealed my hippydom by slicking my hair back and wearing nice clothes. Excused for financial hardship, it was going to be a 10 day trial (I can't afford them shitz and I don't get paid for jury shitz).

Clarify this "bringing books to jury duty" crap, I don't get it.

Oh, up to once a year you can get a jury summons which means you go to the courthouse and get considered to be a jury member on a trial. Other than about 20 minutes of the day, it involves you sitting there bored off your ass, so reading material is pretty much mandatory.

In case you get called back: I'd try to look through the library and find a book detailing the failings and corruption of our courts, or anything that explicitly suggests that overthowing the system would be an improvement. But for shock value, go with the porn and a visibly aroused look.
