what can make this guitar tone better?

sorry for using the HD di´s, but ive got CTS so i cant record something of my own atm, hope thats a valid reason for using these overused di´s

Sounds very good but I prefer the first one. You can try a multiband compressor to open a bit the sound.

The second one sounds a bit fuller.
Neither of them sound quite as up front and in your face as they could though.

What is the technique for getting it more upfront?

tried to move the mic closer to the grill on this one, got the more boomy thickness that ive noticed on alot of tracks thats been considered good on this forum:
