While I certainly like the idea of this thread, and it'll be cool to learn about everyone's background, its use would be kinda nullified if PEOPLE WOULD ACTUALLY FILL OUT THE LOCATION SECTION IN THEIR PROFILES 
But anyway, I've lived in NY my whole life; I grew up in Manhattan up until the end of my Soph. year of High School, after which we moved about 1 1/2 hrs. "upstate" (still the distant edges of the suburbs, but you wouldn't know it given how rural it is because of all the reservoirs). I love NY, I don't ever plan on leaving!
Oh yeah, and I'm half Irish, half German

I live in Brazil, more specifically in Belém, near the amazon forest region. Probably one of the worst places in Brazil (If you ever go to Brazil, DONT GO, to Pará/Belém. If you come, at least come to do a jam with me!) My father is from Belgium and my mother's family is from Africa. Talk about a bizzare mix
