My mom has bought me obscure albums before, but she'd pick from a list I gave her. This year she gave up and said "you find your music in weird places now, so I'll let you do that on your own."

Oh, and being completely blindsided by the presence of the Simpsons season 5 box set upon walking into Best Buy on Monday was the greatest xmas present of all.

I make a list of all the CDs I want (and provide websites and whatnot on where they can be purchased) and my mother either takes the list to a local independent music store and orders some through it or orders them online.

My good man, we live in an age when even the most esoteric and obscurest of albums can be purchased and shipped with the click of a button.

Warioware is soooo addicting and fun, the perfect ADD gift. Silent Hill 4, on the other hand, is easily the scariest game I've ever played. It's so much spookier than the past games (just wait till later in the game, when the room starts to be mean).
