This is my first mix. Would like some input and I am ready to take a beating.
I have been lurking here for around a year slowly collecting equipment. Thanks to everyone for all of the
sharing of knowledge.
I play(loosely speaking) the drums, bass and guitar on this one and I am a major hack. Drums were improv.
All joking aside I am having more fun recording trying to achieve the Pro sounds everyone strives for on the cheap.

Guitar:
Peavey 6505 + 112<2x12 vintage 30<Modded tubescreamer<Rocktron Guitar Silencer<Schecter Hellraiser EMG 81<Shure SM57

Bass: Spector 4 string EMG HZ active preamp DI

Drums:
Pearl export select<Z Master sound hi hats, 14" A thin 16" A medium thin, vintage 22" A ride
Modded MXL 603 Recorderman
Kick cheap Shure
Snare cheap Shure

FIrestudio Project Interface>Drumagog<Sneap kick<Sneap snare

Recorded in a basement around 80 x 60 feet which is not helping the situation. Shit bouncing everywhere.

Fuck me sideways! If that's your first ever mix then you should be very proud of yourself. It's awesome!

Seriously though, 80 by 60 foot?! That's HUGE!

Damn! This sounds awesome! Besides one or two spots where the rhythm guitars aren't super tight, I can't really suggest anything.

That huge basement should help rather than hurt, I would think? Even untreated, it's gotta be better than a small room.
