Yeah, too bad they don't have things like procedural due process or civil liberties in Iran. Not saying he didn't do it; just saying if you're innocent and accused of a crime, you're kind of fucked. Also, they should have punishments like this for government officials who trample people's human rights or oversee extra-judicial executions.

Yes that's the downside of harsh punishments.

I agree though, people that abuse the system should have a swift and harsh punishment.
