What is the biggest Australian Heavy Metal band?

If you include Nu-Metal, maybe segression or Superheist even.

Maybe Alchemist?

I haven't linsten to Australian metal for ages.

I don't even knoiw what's going on in our local scene these days.

Some Aussie bands I like though are Virgin Black, Henry's Anger, Damaged etc.

Only about 6 weeks old, well they've been around for longer but i joined 6 weeks ago and things have started to come together since then. Hopefully record an album this year.

I'm bringing the melodic side of things to the band, while they already have the more deathier and extremer music. So its quite cool music, songs ranging from 5 - 13 minutes and constantly changing, the type that doesnt have choruses or anything and doesnt repeat sections but progresses and changes.

But how could i ever compete against Hammering Moss?? Have you been signed yet????

Hmmm, the only band that even came to mind is D666, though they aren't big by any means I guess....

Hahah.. some of my friends in America rave about Destroyer666.. and it's the only Auzzie band they've heard of.

I like Damaged from what I heard. They are on Rotten Records label(same as Acid Bath). That's really about the only Aussie band I have heard.

Oh, and there's Silverchair...those metal gods.
