well i'm off to chinatown to buy cheap home furnishings and then maybe to try to check out atlantic ave in brooklyn--i hear there are mad arabs there. and by that i don't mean abdul alhazred.
alex, let me know if you find cool hardwood rustic coffee/sofa/end tables in a darkish wood. i think the only way we're going to find what we want is by 6 month boat journey.
p.s. go to pearl river market on broadway a few blocks north of canal street in chintown. you'll love it. buy your girlfriend something there. they have the cutest stuff.
okayyy i got sidetracked. i'm at jenna's house waiting for a delivery for her. hopefully i can get moving within the hour but do all the canal street sidewalk shops close down after 5pm?
where is 3rd avenue and how do i get there? besides the 3rd avenue that's 25 feet from my front door.
well, it's all work warehouses on 3rd avenue, you dont want to come down here. (it's off atlantic ave going south in brooklyn).
most canal street stores will stay open at least until 6 or 7 when it's summer.
i gotta get to chinatown, shop, go back to my apartment, and go back to harlem for dinner all in time to make it to the chinese stars/wives/et al show in williamsburg tonight.
