What is the status with Attila?

I saw some videos from the 70000 Tons of Metal Cruise, and it looked like somebody other than Attila was on the 2nd guitar - anybody have news about this? Did NM officially invite him to join the band or is he already out? I think the kid is super-talented and I'm really hoping he works out. I saw a recent video interview with Loomis and he said that Attila was one of his favorite new guitarists, and that Attila was actually showing Jeff some cool stuff on guitar - that is an impressive quote. Updates?

I have only seen a clip on Moonrise and can't even tell if it is Attila or not. He didn't mention anything about not playing it. I will ask him on Facebook.

My understanding is that they didn't want to fly him all the way out from Hungary to do two hour shows on the boat. So they got a local guy from Seattle to fill in just on this, and that Attila will be here for the tour in the Spring.

He confirmed all is well. Just that one show with the work visa deal. Its been happening to a lot of international musicians these last few years.

Not all europeans are allowed to go to the states withouth visa ... there are a few countries that don't need visa anymore
