The problem with this forum is that we agree a lot with (almost) everyone. We need more disent or people are going to believe that we staged our threads :lol:

the reason for real metal staying underground is MTV. MTV promotes bands with little or no talent whatsoever and this is basically the only music most teens listen to. So real music has a hard time making its way into the teenage society, most of the music teens listen to carries on until their later years and therefore they have little chance of being exposed to nw music no matter how old they get.

I understand your point. When I was your age :hypno: , I got that: the music you kids hear today is horrible all the time, even if I wasn't part of the mass.

The problem is that in a sense is a no-win situation:

a) the teens that are not into metal consider you a weirdo
b) the adults who doesn't know you're into metal, believe you hear the same shit as all the kids
c) the adults who know you're into metal shake their heads

But don't worry here we are to give you support :rock: , just kive your upper lip stiff, walk tall and show them being a metalhead doesn't make you different or bad, on the contrary you are better ;)

Metal sucks, its for gay stoner fucks who live with their parents untill they are 40. Metal stays underground because the bands obviously don't have any talent. Maybe if they cut their hair and changed their clothes they might have a shot, but only if they learned some phat choreographed dance steps.
