Major prog head here, with prog-metal among my favorite sub-genres. Metal-head? Nope, though I still enjoy the ocassional old school work by bands like Iron Maiden & Megadeth. Both bands flirted with prog on acassion anyway, hence my enjoyment.

I got prog metal fan, even though I'm not. My favorite genre is death metal, but I like my death metal to be innovative, progressive, and interesting. A band that's good at what they do but sound exactly like all the other bands doesn't really interest me (i.e. a lot of the Swedish bands coming out nowadays).
