It was a toss up between the two when getting it, tbh. So far, only like 4 songs into it, it's pretty good. But since I don't have Alien, I can't really comment on the quality of one versus the other... Perhaps next month.

Yeah I've not just heard it, it's my favourite post-rock album ever aswell, if Isis counts as post-metal. This one's quite fucking awesome aswell.
