What Music Have You Bought Recently?

So its pay day, so I went and got two randoms to tie me over.
although not completely random.

right now i am listening to Anathema's - a natural disaster.
Im liking it.
maybe because i payed for it and i dont want my hard earned dosh going to waste. maybe because i just like it.

i also got David Gilmour's - live in Gdansk.
I am looking forward to that, sort of.
i would have rathered an actual floyd disc, but they didnt have any.
Ive always hated the floyd, but i was an ignorant metal junkie then. Lately ive been developing a love for them.

Mirzadeh - The creatures of loviatar

Interesting Kalmah'ish black metal with some folk elements...or something like that.
With one listen, I like.

Two selftitled ones from metal gods, and first one from teh famouz blackster.

Iron Maiden

- Not interesting, except for few songs.

Metallica

- Overally better than above mentioned, but still not that interesting.

For All Tid

- Nice stuff, not anything super awesome, but atleast the music is good.

I had this one on tape long ago ... somehow I came across this record again when I browsed the iTunes store recently and listening to the snippets it gave me some kind of nostalgic feeling. I just had to buy it. np: Brand New Toy.

Gojira - The Way Of All Flesh

Cynic - Traced In Air

Subway to Sally - Kreuzfeuer

Listened once so far, I feel that this is kind of album that works better when listened from the CD, though most of the songs are really good.

Revolution Renaissance - Age of Aquarius

I was like "why the fuck does he sing like Kotipelto?", seriously, I hope it's only because of I've listened to it once so far, that I think this album just isn't interesting, except for few ballads, and the last song, which are nice.

Ayreon - Into the electric castle

Definately worth it's reputation, could with a few listens be even better than 01011001. :kickass:

I had a massive purge today, luckily I got more than a few for cheap.

Mastodon - Crack the Sky
Torche - Meanderthal
Neurosis - Through Silver in Blood
Iron Maiden - Somewhere in Time
Motörhead - Ace of Spades
Rush - Counterparts
Rush - Vapor Trails

Would be nice to have a brief summary of what you thought about the album, and who would like it.
I think this thread could be a reference for everyone. I sincerily don't give a fuck about the fact that you bought a new album, but I care if you say it's a great or total bullshit album.
