and opeth songs are relatively easy to pick up, so you can hear a song you like and learn it that day

None full...
I know almost all of:
The Grand Conjuration
Bleak
On bass. And:
Still Day Beneath the Sun
on guitar.

wish i had a bass

do you just play the licks that you like the most instead of just learning a whole track

okay lets see now....

Demon of the fall
credence

godhead's lament
benighted
face of melinda
serenity painted death

leper affinity
bleak
harvest
drapery falls
dirge for november
blackwater park

Still day beneath the sun

deliverance
a fair judgement
masters apprentices

windowpane
in my time of need
death whispered a lullaby
closure
to rid the disease

weird, i don't know any songs from GR, only parts.

none of watershed either.

I only know Still Day beneath the Sun and Patterns in the Ivy II completely, but I know bit's of heaps of other songs.

i don't know what you usually play, but some of the opeth songs are not that easy and have taken me a while to learn.
edit: not just know how to play it but really know how to play it.

which songs are you referring to? and what do you mean really know how to play it? play it with some fervor or something?

the still life songs are probably the most difficult, face of melinda was a pain in the ass to learn... i mean i could play it after awhile (pretty sloppy), but it took me a while to automatically just play it well without thinking about it, that's what i consider learning.
