What pci sound cards are you guys using (PC)

Basically I don't want to use the realtek audio on the mobo, because I had some bad experiences back in the day, because this is only going to be used for gaming.
It's going to be going straight into my Saffire pro24 --> monitors.

OR...

Should I not bother and stick with the onboard....? It's got all the necessary software support, but I'm worried it's going to sound like ass through my monitors...

I also wasn't sure whether I should've put this in off topic.... but whatever

But, it's going to remain hooked up to my iMac.... the pc audio will just go through it.

does your realtek have spdif out? mine does.

spdif out of realtek to saffire. keep the spdif always routed to your outputs.
