I've been using Fruity Loops for programming drums, but also have learned that
it isn't the most practical for making drum patterns with odd time signatures.

It's ok software for normal 4/4 songs, but beyond that I'm hands up, searching
for a sequencer that let's you choose how many steps you want each pattern
to consist of, and more importantly, also works with AD drums.

You can get around any time signatures with Fruity with just excessive amount
of work that's not even funny anymore. Maybe I have missed something there?

Any suggestions of other, perhaps more convenient ways of programming
AD Drums? Thanks for reading :)

pro-tools, logic or cubendo will all do it.
BUT!!!

Cubendo has a drum map, which is handy.
I feel so dirty for saying that

Thanks for the tip :) I've been using Fruity Loops for programming and Sony Acid Pro for live recordings,
but I do own a copy of Cubase 3, just never got into it, and maybe have got too comfortable with
Acid Pro at the same time. I guess it's time for another ride, since so many here seems to use cubase too :)
