What songs did Calvert and O'Brien write in this band?

I've always felt their best albums had two guitarists. Loomis laid the groundwork for most of the songs I'm assuming, but their albums never felt anywhere near as "full" when it was just him by himself (which isn't to say DHIADW, EoR and to a lesser extent TOC were not still great albums).

They've always seemed to have been able to find a very complimentary second guitarist for those albums, but even if they are able to do that again, I just don't know that two non Loomis guitarists can still write songs that sound like Nevermore. As big of a blow as this is though, it would be even worse (for me) if it was Warrel who was leaving, or quitting the business altogether. His lyrics and vocal style are very cathartic.

Could you explain what the fuck your username is?

I agree that if it were WD leaving it would be impossible to continue on.

I doubt it, they'd probably just hire Tim the ripper.

cus that guy is the perpetual temp for everyone in need of a singer

hmm, on the cd cover if I remember it correctly it says all songs were written by Nevermore. doesn't say anything specifically, neither on PoE, nor on DNB covers. from what I know Calvert came up with the main riffs for Beyond Within and All Play Dead. also O'Brien came up with Next in Line and The Learning. the whole thing about Loomis not writing all the material has been blown out of proportions. though I do agree that the albums with two players are the better ones.

Just some random "Talkingbackwards". I had an account from 2002, but due to inactivity/forum migration or whatever, it expired.
