What would you do? Guitar editing?

I'm in money needs and want my name out so I have to take all chances I can get. But I got REALY bad performance guitars in hands that can't play 1/16 on 160bpm... leaving me with no choice of editing almost each note that obviously is hardly to recognize from other (visually and hardly by ear)
Would you stretch the shit out to have right length for at least one riff loop and than copy paste?
In some places bass play 1/8T instead like guitars 1/16... hate that guessing what it should play.

and that goes 4min for bass and 2 guitars.

get them to play it half speed, chop each note and move it back. If tracking real amps, always get a DI too, that way you can group the mic track to the DI track and the mic track will follow the edits on the DI.

No shame in cheating these days :D

Maybe you could process the DI to be all trebly and spiky, then render it so you can see the note more and just edit that grouped with the original DI.

Or replay it. Just make it sound good somehow and the band will look silly when they play live.

Hmm, good idea for treble boosting. I'm already through most of track tho, but that is really pain in ass, because I have no other choice to get some extra buck.
I'm starting to feel that if someone will ask he need track to edit, that will mean it's fucked up. I wouldn't allow band to track that bad and go away, unless they don't leave me pot of gold.
