What would you guys like to hear on MSRCAST?

All the stuff you've got going on at the moment is pretty damn good. I especially like Daylight Dies on episode 15.

I wouldn't mind hearing some Gorguts, Akercocke, maybe some Burzum, and if you're feeling NWOBHM 3 Inches of Blood should sort you out (I know they're from Canada).

wow. I havent heard of only two bands on there, deadbird, and sonic syndicate. all the others are great though and will all definitely be played in the future. would like to actually do a full episode of james rivera one day, including seven witches and his other bands. get his ass into our studio as well...now, Iced Earth would be a cool episode as well...

I've been AWOL for some time, but what I've heard in episodes 15 and 16 has been really cool... I remember I got hooked on some of the early episodes... anyhow, there should be a sticky thread listing all the songs that have been played so far (shouldn't be hard to do... I'd do it myself, but it's 5 am and I'd better go to bed... )

Then again, I started from the 1st episode but there wasn't the list of artists/songs that were on the first episode... and there isn't an episode... dammit! Does anyone have the first episodes to which the links are missing in the msrcast page?

Anyhow... a cool future theme (haven't checked if you've already done it) would be Symphonic Metal... from speedier/power-er metal ('hollywood metal' like Rhapsody)... to Slower more melancholic metal (like Estatic Fear, which is a cool mix of symphonic and doom, perhaps?)...

Or maybe a theme about groups that have included unusual instruments... Haggard has a whole orchestra... Estatic Fear's Matthias Kogler plays the Lute... Marcela Bovio, the vocalist from Elfonia (a group from my town) sings and plays an electronic violin...
 
Yeah, I have backups of the early episodes, and was going to try to get them back up. I upgraded the server space recently, and should be able to get them back up and running soon...

Hmm, a list of all the songs. alphabetically no less? heh.

Never heard of psycroptic, are they relatively new? How many albums? Who would you compare them to?

As far as Berzerker.... um, yuck, talk to Evil C about that one!!! :heh: :kickass:

Anyways... I forgot to tell you guys in the morning that I had compiled an accessible list of the MSRcast episodes in del.icio.us (hint: click on the little blue buttons).

The libsyn page is missing episodes 5, 4 and 1... so it'd be nice if you could edit your posts and include them!

I'm glad I downloaded your episodes... it's keeping me from dying from boredom. :p
